ICFAI University Raipur to Host Five-Day Online FDP on Research Excellence and Academic Writing

ICFAI University Raipur will organize a five-day online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on the theme “Research Excellence and Academic Writing” from 10 March to 14 March 2026. The programme is being jointly conducted by the Faculty of Management Studies and the Faculty of Commerce of the university. 

The online FDP aims to strengthen research capabilities among academicians by focusing on key areas such as research design, data analysis, plagiarism ethics, journal selection, manuscript preparation and scholarly communication. The programme is designed to help participants enhance the quality of their research and publish in reputed academic journals.

According to the organisers, the programme is open to faculty members, research scholars, Ph.D. aspirants and postgraduate students who are interested in improving their research and academic writing skills. The registration fee for the programme has been kept at ₹500, and the sessions will be conducted in online mode from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM daily. 

Several eminent academicians will serve as resource persons during the FDP. These include Dr. Amit Agrawal, Prof. Daljeet Wadhwa, Prof. G. K. Deshmukh, and Prof. Rajeev Choudhary, who will deliver sessions on topics such as mixed-method research, reliability and validity testing, AI tools in research, and systematic literature review with bibliometric analysis.

The programme is being organized under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) S. D. Pandey, Vice-Chancellor of the university. The event is convened by Dr. Archi Dubey and Dr. Abha Shukla, while Dr. Jayant Isaac, Dr. Shweta Dewangan, and Dr. Ambarish Ghosh are coordinating the programme.

The initiative aims to promote high-quality research and academic integrity while providing a platform for knowledge exchange among scholars and educators across institutions.
